Crazy Love!!

Have any of you read this book? I have twice! Let me tell you it rattled me to my core to say the least.  I had no idea how little I was doing for Christ.  I'm sad to say I had become one of those Luke-warm Christians Francis Chan talked about in his book "Crazy Love"  I thought that I was doing pretty darn good giving a little of myself here and there.  Praying most of the time but not to much! You know those times where you're just to tired or to busy so you put Jesus on the back burner.  You tell yourself it's OK, God is a forgiving God he knows I'm only human he'll understand.  I'll pray harder tomorrow.  WOW what an eye opener I got after finishing that book.  Not only was I concerned about where I stood with Christ after reading the book but where many people who call their selves Christians stand with Christ today.  I suddenly had an overwhelming rush of emotions all at once.  I'm not kidding for three days I cried.  I was a jumbled bunch of nerves.  I was so disappointed in the fact that I had neglected the only one out there that loves us unconditionally  who died for us so that we can one day have everlasting life.  This book touched my soul. In this book he reads from the King James Bible.  I followed along with my bible every scripture he mentions so I could see for myself exactly what it said in the Bible.  That's when I got my wake up call to how blinded and lazy I have been with my salvation.  God doesn't want bits and pieces of us he wants all or nothing.  He also wants us to recognize our sins and to repent often.  He wants good works of us at all times. He wants it to come straight from our hearts because if you love Jesus with all your heart you will want to help all you can with whom ever you can!  If you have not read this book I encourage you to.  Once  you read it pass it on to someone else.  If you need a copy let me know and I will get you one!  You can check out his website here: http://www.crazylovebook.com/  God Bless!!
